Random Lines

Random distribution of lines upon a surface can help to create grid like structures but also when given random orientation and length, these lines cross and dissect the area creating new shapes. If you increase the length and stroke weight, lines become surface and counter forms develop on the visual plane. Negative space therefore becomes new form. When you increase the density, complex textures arise.
